Meet One of Our New Zimbags!

Hello there. Happy bag elf here! I would like to introduce you to one of our newest bags, The Zimbag Folding Shopper.

A smart little fellow, this guy would love to accompany you on your next trip to the grocery store. Careful, he's small enough to stowaway without you even knowing about it.

Here he is, hiding in the bushes (look how small and cute he is):

And here he is, showing off his size:

A bit more compact than its friend The Zimbag Shopper, this bag folds and Velcros closed into a neat little packet measuring 7” by 4”. Perfect for slipping into your purse or glove compartment so you are never without a reusable bag. When unfolded, your bag will have 2 pockets, perfect for storing your keys, coupons, chap stick, gum, or any small thing you must have with you when shopping. Not only will you be helping the environment by eliminating wasteful plastic bags, you will be helping women in Zimbabwe overcome extreme poverty.
Each bag features sadza artwork created by women artists from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and sewn onto bags here by bag elves in the US. When you purchase your bag you have the choice of Safari Animals or Cultural Scenes, make sure to specify your choice! Each Zimbag comes with the story of a woman artist and tells you how you are helping to Bag Poverty.

Size: Open: 15"W x 16"H - No Gusset; Closed: 7"W x 4"H
Capacity: Can replace one paper grocery bag
Material Type: Non-Woven Polypropylene
Care Instructions: Wipe down with a damp cloth

About Sadza
Sadza (pronounced Sud-za) is corn ground into a fine meal, often cooked and served with vegetables or meat sauce. A staple in Zimbabwe, it can also be used to create a beautiful painting. The painting technique involves using sadza on the fabric to separate colors when applying paint. After the paint is applied, the canvas is left to dry. Once dry, the fabric is washed of the sadza, leaving behind beautiful Zimbabwean designs.
